I had family on both sides, one of the Rebs died at Shiloh.

My family gets hard to trace too, some of my ancestors took on their wives last names when they married to avoid the law.

Union Flag on it (time period)

I go to reenactments and am on a cannon crew.
It's a lot of fun camping in 1860s time period.
Gets both unbearably hot and cold but we do it
in memory of our ancestors
